Siri Eyes-Free had been indevelopment for some time now, where Apple had partnered with the likes of BMW, Mercedes, GM, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler, and Honda in order to bring a more fluid Siri experience behind the wheel. Honda is the first to annouce that their Accord and Acura RDX / ILX models will be the first of their viechles to feature a unique button on the steering wheel, that will interact with users iPhones, enabling the use of Siri without having to look at their phone or fiddle around whilst driving.
There are obvious benefit to this feature as users could interact with their phone to get directions / organise their route of travel, check weather updates and see if there have been any accidents on route to their destination. It also bennefits those twitter addicts and makes the road a much safer place for those inssitant on using their mobile on the go.
