The street cat, Bob has recently died. The cat (Bob) is known for having transformed a heroin addict (James Bowen) who’s notes A Street Cat Named Bob became a best selling book which was published in 2012 and eventually movie releasedin 2016.
Bob passed away today aged 14. His death was announced via social media by Bowen.
Bowne met Bob in 2007 during his addiction, as an injured and abandoned cat, and decided to look after him. Taking Bob along whilst busking and selling the big issue in London.
A second film A Gift From Bob is due for release this year.
